Thanks to all of my incredible readers I was able to create a schedule of her activity and finally get a clear shot of the wild woman

So what do all of you think? I have to admit her incredibly humanoid form and behaviors have got me spinning a few theories but I want to let this circulate and hear back a bit before I share.

New HIGH QUALITY IMAGE of the UTAH WILD WOMAN

Readers, I have a huge scoop pending! Some people have mentioned strange cairns appearing around downtown Provo and strange figures darting into alleys that resemble the increasing body of images we have of the wild woman.

This may be clarified by this latest photo. Notice her just how humanoid she looks. I like you readers may be growing worried she may not be what she appears. If only I could run into her and see for myself. I have begun camping in Rock Canyon park (the popular Provo look/make out point in an attempt to see her up close. Unfortunatly it seems she may have moved on since this photo was snapped.

While many are claiming these cairns are art I wonder if they could be structures by the wild woman. I know that's crazy but it can't be a coincidence all thsi stuff is happening at the exact same time right? If she was already down at Utah lake there is no reason she couldn't get around Main street.

If any of you see more cairns let me know, I'd love to study them more closely.

LAKE SIGHTING!!! Is the wild woman aquatic???

Okay so one of the lovely blog readers sent me this video they came across on Youtube. Now you might immediatly think this is some other kind of creature but I posit to you that it is the Utah Wild Woman for several reasons.

1. Remember how she suddenly appeared in the canyon? Well I theorized that this was because she has been pushed out of her native habitat by some ecological factos, most likely the wildfires that ravaged the Western States this summer. What if she is continuing her journay and was in fact a semi-aquatic cryptid to begin with. I have a friend who is a geologist and he tracks the rate of stream-bed drying during the year. This summer was quite hot and we had lacked rainfall. What if her stream dried up and she has now come to the Utah valley to dwell in the Lake???

2. The thing in the video is clearly using some sort of raft they aquired. Naturally only humanoid cryptids are capable of tool usage. The creature also uses its arms to raise the raft and its legs to swim, a very humanoid form. What other humanoid creatures have been spotted in the valley??? Only the Wild Woman.

3. Also in studying the video the creature has a telltale mass of matted hair on it's head which looks exactly like the wild woman. The skin coloration was also the same as photos from other sightings.

Now what important things did this sighting teach us? While previous sightings and videos were unclear and the wild woman could have been anything from an ape to a teenager, this sighting showed us more of her body in detail. In my opinion she seems to be a homo sapien but with primitive hygiene and clothing. Also a clear lack of human communicative skill. I posit she is very likely akin to the feral children seen across the Northern continent, thos eabandoned to fend for themselves in the wild. This means that while possibly dangerous she is intelligent and coulod likely be reasoned with if encountered. She will lack the sort of natural wanton/malicious destructive instinct many other cryptids posess. I would however continue to keep your distance should you encounter her readers. Let me know what you think in the comments and keep those sightings coming.

MORE WILD WOMAN!!! AF canyon???

Fellow skeptics and believers! We have another sighting of the Utah Wild Woman!!! And a Jonesy exclusive, I sat down with the reporting witness to ask about her experince

J: So Henry, what date, time, and place did you see the wild woman?

H: It was like noon on October 27th, I think? And I was up American Fork Canyon.

J: And what were you doing out there?

H: I was hammocking with a friend.

J: When you first spotted her what did you think it was?

H: Well, I was scared it was a bear or a moose or something, but then I thought it was a homeless person, until it started roaring. That’s when I knew this was something weird, and I guess I’m fight with fight-or-flight instincts because then I started chasing her.

J: You chased her? That is quite bold though I will say I would likely have done the same. Describe to me what you were able to discern in your time chasing her.

H: She ran on two legs, at least most of the time. She wore ripped up clothes and she had the grossed mat of hair on her head. And I think she had like...lizard scaly legs. They were green at least. She also seemed at least kinda smart, like more than instinct? Gave me human vibes, though I’m not going to say she was completely human.

J: I see, an intelligent humanoid. Readers of my blog have posited the similarity between her and big-foot, though I will admit bipedal ape cryptids are common in and of themselves. I personally wonder if she may be more akin to Babayaga. Before this event did you have any interest in cryptids?

H: Uh, I liked watching Finding Bigfoot when I was younger, and I watched that ‘Mothman Prophecies’ movie once. Well, like half of it, I kinda fell asleep.

J: I see. Well I am very glad you made it out safe and even more glad you got pictures of the whole affair. Do you have any parting words for my readers?

H: Keep an eye out for this...what did you call her, Wild Woman? Yeah, keep an eye out for the Wild Woman. I don’t think she’s dangerous, and maybe we can all get famous if we find her.

Well there you ahve it dear readers, another sighting and first hand account of the Wild Woman. I will continue my investigations and

MOTHMAN P.2

Folklorist Jan Harold Brunvand notes that Mothman has been widely covered in the popular press, some claiming sightings connected with UFOs, and others claiming that a military storage site was Mothman's "home". Brunvand notes that recountings of the 1966–67 Mothman reports usually state that at least 100 people saw Mothman with many more "afraid to report their sightings" but observed that written sources for such stories consisted of children's books or sensationalized or undocumented accounts that fail to quote identifiable persons. Brunvand found elements in common among many Mothman reports and much older folk tales, suggesting that something real may have triggered the scares and became woven with existing folklore. He also records anecdotal tales of Mothman supposedly attacking the roofs of parked cars occupied by teenagers.
Conversely, Joe Nickell says that a number of hoaxes followed the publicity generated by the original reports, such as a group of construction workers who tied flashlights to helium balloons. Nickell attributes the Mothman stories to sightings of barn owls, suggesting that the Mothman's "glowing eyes" were actually red-eye effect caused from the reflection of light from flashlights or other bright light sources. Benjamin Radford points out that the only report of glowing "red eyes," was secondhand, that of Shirley Hensley quoting her father.
According to University of Chicago psychologist David A. Gallo, 55 sightings of Mothman in Chicago during 2017 published on the website of self-described Fortean researcher Lon Strickler are "a selective sample". Gallo explains that "he's not sampling random people and asking if they saw the Mothman – he's just counting the number of people that voluntarily came forward to report a sighting." According to Gallo, "people more likely to visit a paranormal-centric website like Strickler's might also be more inclined to believe in, and therefore witness the existence of, a 'Mothman'."
Some pseudoscience adherents (such as ufologists, paranormal authors, and cryptozoologists) claim that Mothman was an alien, a supernatural manifestation, or a previously unknown species of animal. In his 1975 book, Keel claimed that the Point Pleasant residents experienced precognitions including premonitions of the collapse of the Silver Bridge, UFO sightings, visits from inhuman or threatening men in black, and other phenomena.

Festival and statues

Point Pleasant held its first Annual Mothman Festival in 2002. The Mothman Festival began after brainstorming creative ways for people to visit Point Pleasant. The group organizing the event chose the Mothman to be the center of the festival due to its uniqueness, and as a way to celebrate its local legacy in the town.
According to the event organizer Jeff Wamsley, the average attendance for the Mothman is an estimated 10–12 thousand people per year. A 12-foot-tall metallic statue of the creature, created by artist and sculptor Bob Roach, was unveiled in 2003. The Mothman Museum and Research Center opened in 2005. The festival is held on the third weekend of every September, hosting guest speakers, vendor exhibits, pancake-eating contests, and hayride tours of locally notable areas.
In June of 2020, a petition was started to replace all Confederate statues in the United States with statues of Mothman. As of June 2021, the petition has garnered nearly 19,000 signatures.
